B10 My Holiday
CROATIA
We went to several islands
I liked one the most. {najviac}
There were no streets and no cars - it was very interesting.
We stayed on board of two yachts, where we also had bedrooms.
We ate national food, mainly seafood and drank local wines.
Usually, we swam in the sea and then went walking on the beach. In the evening, my son played guitar.
UNITED STATES (Milwaukee, WI)
We stayed at my daughter's house. After breakfast and a cup of coffee, we usually went swimming in the pool.
Before dinner, we went to see my grandson's baseball game (he's ten years old).
After dinner, we played billiards/pool, sat around in a jacuzzi, played cards or just talked to each other.
We never went to bed early.
ITALY (Veneto)
The beaches were next to(near) the hotel. The people were very friendly and the food cheap.
Every morning we woke up at six o'clock to watch the sunrise. We liked to explore the surrounding {okolité} islands.
EGYPT (Hurghada)
We spent seven days there. Every day we walked around and we saw a lot of interesting things - the monkeys were very clever and cheerful! I look forward to my next time there!
SPAIN (Andalúcia)
We flew there by plane. The food was all-inclusive and excellent. We could swim in the sea or in the pool.
During the day, we went on a lot of excursions to interesting places.In the evening, there was modern music in the bar. One time there was even a magician! {raz tam bol aj kúzelník!}
ARIZONA
We flew from Budapest through London and Paris.
We had a really good time. We stayed at our friends' house. They live in a small town. We spent four days in Mexico, two days in Grand Canyon and one day in Tucson, AZ Biosphere. We also saw the Aircraft Boneyard and the Sedona Chapel of the Holy Cross. One day we spent in Bearizona safari. Another day we spent in the botanical garden in Phoenix.
California
Our flight took 10 hours! We stayed in my son's house in Mountainview - there are many IT companies here in Silicon Valley. We visited Las Vegas for five unforgettable {nezabudnuteľné} days. One day we spent in a Sea Aquarium. The trip was very wonderful. We admired the Golden Gate and Alcatraz in San Francisco. We were very satisfied with our holiday
Cyprus
Every day we went for long walks along the coast.
The weather was sunny and hot. We had a room with a sea view. The food was excellent!
Croatia (Rovinj)
Every day we took aerobics classes on the beach. Every day we went swimming and sometimes we went to Rovinj to see the artists and painters. We have very nice memories from the trip!
